Marketplace Events creates vibrant expositions connecting enthusiasts with experts, products and services in dynamic face-to-face environments.  The company produces 76 shows in 34 markets including 51 consumer home shows in the US, 16 in Canada, six holiday shows, two bridal shows and one spring boutique. The 76 combined events attract 22,000 exhibitors, 1.9 million attendees and another 3.9 million unique web visitors annually. From 15 offices, the 170-person staff produces some of the most successful and longest-running shows in North America, including market-leading shows in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal—some of which have thrived in their markets for more than 75 years.

Official Statement:

July 22, 2020 – To date, Marketplace Events has been forced to cancel or postpone 25 of our 76 shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Spring home shows in the following cities, originally scheduled to take place in March and April 2020, were canceled:
1. Buffalo
2. Indianapolis
3. Cleveland
4. Atlanta
5. Raleigh
6. Austin
7. Lexington
8. Denver
9. Edmonton
10. Montreal
11. Ottawa
12. Nashville

13. Our Arizona Wedding Show scheduled for June was also canceled on April 12.

Cancellations of the following fall 2020 shows announced in the last month:
14. Austin Fall Home + Garden Show
15. Fairgrounds Southern Ideal Home Show in Raleigh
16. Jacksonville Fall Home Show
17. Capital Home Show in Chantilly, VA
18. San Antonio Fall Home Show
19. Edmonton Fall Home Show
20. Calgary Fall Home Show
21. Ottawa Fall Home Show
22. Montreal Fall Home Show

The following spring home shows, originally scheduled to take place in spring, were postponed and to date, are still scheduled to run:
23. The Winnipeg Home + Garden Show was postponed and is now scheduled to run October 1-4, 2020
24. The OKC Home + Outdoor Living Show was postponed and is now scheduled to run October 9-11, 2020
25. The Greensboro Ideal Home Show was postponed and will now run October 16-18, 2020

The fall 2020 shows in these cities are also scheduled to run:
1. Fall Atlanta Home Show, September 11-13
2. Nashville Home Show, September 11-13
3. Deseret News Fall Home Show, October 9-11
4. Richmond Home Show, October 23-25
5. Vancouver Home + Design Show, October 29-Nov 1
6. Johnson County Home + Remodeling Show, Overland Park, KS, November 6-8

Christmas Shows in the following cities are scheduled to run in November of 2020:
7. Des Moines
8. Minneapolis
9. Charlotte
10. Cincinnati
11. Kansas City
12. Indianapolis

Unless prohibited by public health authorities, Marketplace Events will run their full roster of 75 shows scheduled for 2021.
